To go house boating

Houseboats generally have 1 bedroom houseboat to 10 bedrooms, which can sleep 1-40 people. Putting a couple per bedroom together is the usual way. Here are several suggestions for which you might include on your trip. (Don't feel limited to these, however)

1. Family & Extended Family

Some people have a large enough family that they can fill a boat with family members, which can be a lot of fun and can create some really meaningful experiences among siblings and/or cousins. You might just decide to make it an annual reunion, as many people do. For this type of large number of passengers, houseboats with five or above rooms are desirable.

2. A Group of Friends

Inviting a group of all single adults (which can be all male or all female), or adult couples, can be loads of fun. Enjoying the water by day in the cool tropical climate without the noises of the modern life, this is going to be the ultimate vacation. For this cruise, we have a mammoth vessel, which can accommodate 40 people for the cruise.

3. A Group of Co-workers

Houseboat Trips

DAY CRUISE (Day Trip)
Day cruise is better for the family, groups & those who don't like to stay in the houseboat. 
› Day Trip start from at 11.00 AM and check out at 05.00 PM.
› Before starting the trip enjoy our welcome drink, then you can enjoy houseboat cruise through the enchanting Alleppey backwaters and stop for Lunch (take lunch break for 1 Hour ), then again continue your trip till evening, finish with tea and snacks.

OVERNIGHT STAY
› Over Night Trip starts at 12.00 Noon and check out next day morning 09.00 AM
› Over Night Trip includes Welcome drink, Lunch, Tea & snacks, Dinner and Breakfast.
› Houseboat trip will start at 12.00 Noon or depending on the arrival of the guest. Boat will anchor at 05.30 PM at lake shore till next day 07.30 AM. After anchoring the boat guests can visit village, small shops, paddy fields etc or enjoy music, Cable TV/DVD on the boat itself. AC timings are from 09.00 PM to Next day 06.00 AM only in the rooms for Budget Class Traveler & Deluxe Class Traveler, and for First Class Traveler A.c Starts at 12.00 Noon to Next day 09.00 AM.

Alleppey Houseboat offers an AP meal plan where in all the three meals — breakfast, lunch and dinner are freshly prepared and served on board. Meals served will be of typical Kerala cuisine (Both Veg & Non veg Food). Travelers wishing to enjoy a specific cuisine or having dietary restrictions are advised to inform us during the time of booking.

  Non Veg - Rice, Sambar, Mixed Vegetables, Thoran (Carrot, Cabbage, Beans), Mezhukupurathy (Long Beans), Fish Fry (Pearl Spot / Seer Fish), Banana, Kalan, Pappadam, Salad.
• Evening Tea/Snacks : Tea/Coffee, Banana Fritters/Onion Pakoda/Finger Chips.
• Dinner : Veg -White Rice / Veg Fried Rice / Ghee Rice and Chapati, Dal Fry, PaneerButter Masala/ Cauliflower Manchurian.
  Non Veg - White Rice, Dal Curry, Vendakka Mezhukupurathy, Boiled Vegetable, Chappati, Chicken Curry/Roast, Salad.
• Break Fast : Bread, Butter, Jam / Appam with Vegetable Stew / Puttu with chana Masala / Dosa / Idly, Sambar, Chutney, Fruits Cuts, Coffee/Tea.
